Drought in Isabela: First Wave of God’s Curse on Philippines

Dry spell puts Isabela under state of calamity.

For science, drought is caused by a phenomenon called the El Niño. Albeit, what is being predominantly conveyed is the cause as observed from the effects of dryness in the atmosphere and not on the study of causes. That is why science is a persistent failure in providing a solution. Recent futile attempts to induce rain by cloud seeding only proves man’s inability to comprehend part of that knowledge that could only belong to God.

In the Bible, drought is no phenomenon but a curse for disobedience to God. Regrettably however, modern knowledge has replaced divine wisdom. People have relied on scientific explanations even as a plenty of which stand feeble if compared to what God has taught us.

The threat of drought is not isolated. A large area of the Visayas and Mindanao are now experiencing shortages in power and water supply because of diminishing water levels. There is an apparent drying-up of rivers, lakes, falls and rivers whereby much of these have been prophesied in the Bible.

In Jeremiah 17:5 (NIV) God made clear that “cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for his strength and whose heart turns away from the Lord.”

At present, the Philippine media are overwhelmed by candidates’ claim over what they’ve done and will do next once get elected. Lies, deceit, arrogance, avarice and greed are among the attributes that God hates most. While much of these pervade our lives as much of which are embedded in the political campaigns we hear daily, these in turn create an invitation for God’s abomination.

I believe that the current destructive phenomenal occurrences experienced in Isabela, the Visayas and Mindanao are yet the initial wave of an awakening.

I prophesy, unless the Philippines recognizes my God – the God of Israel and worships Him by His true name, more curses will befall upon this land. Calamity after calamity, disaster after disaster will my God deal with the people according to their ways and judge them according to their own judgment (Eze. 7:26-27, NIV).

Therefore, I urge you to heed and surrender yourselves to the God of all Gods, Lord of all Lords, my God, the God of Israel.

So mote it be.
