UN Team to look at ‘saucer’ video. By Rainier Allan Ronda

A team of scientists from the United Nations has expressed interest in examining a 30-minute video footage of alleged unidentified flying objects (UFOs) seen hovering over Las Piñas City last Sept. 3.

The eight-member team from the UN Global Program for the Integration of Public Administration and Science Disasters is in the country to study the Philippines’ disaster preparedness capability, according to Liezl Bautista of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).

The team led by Dr. Jean Chu wants to look at the video footage taken by businessman Antonio Israel, 37.  The video shows what look like balls of light that danced in the night sky over Camella Homes IV in Barangay Pamplona, Las Piñas.

Israel said he was willing to show his video footage to the UN Team, which took notice of the story published this week by The STAR.

Experts from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) had looked at the video footage at Israel’s home but couldn’t make a definitive judgment on the nature of the balls of light.

The personnel from PAGASA’s UFO Investigation Team wanted to borrow the video but Israel refused, saying he wanted to ensure its security.

Israel said he and his neighbors were convinced that what they had seen were saucer-shaped UFOs. He said he had more video footage that would convince the public that what he saw were alien spacecraft.
